[Text by lar3ry gensch] "Beast Blanket Bingo" (blanket.gif, 704x966x2, 23335 bytes) is the forty eighth in a continuing series of fine Disney fanart drawings by Bob Ito . You may wish to save this description in a separate file for future reference. The cast of Beauty and the Beast must have a particular fondness for beaches, as they appear on the beach in a few of Bob Ito's drawings. In this installment, we have Belle starring as Annette Funicello in a remake of one of those beach movies that the "Mouseketeer that growed up" made during the sixties. Since my archive predecessor provided a song parody for the "Beauty and the Beach" drawing (Ito Galleries #16, batbeach.gif), I've decided to try my hand at doing one for this image. Think of this song as being sung by the Beast Boys... Little beauty, on the beach, Are your charms so out of reach? Do you love me, do you Surfer Belle? (Little Belle, our petite Surfer Belle) I've watched you for a spell, You're a hot one, mad-moi-selle! Do you love me, do you Surfer Belle? (Surfer Belle, Surfer Belle) We could live our lives together, And have good times and then... On the beach, I could kiss you Again and again! So I tell you in my arms, "Stay away from Gaston's charms!" Say you love me, won't you Surfer Belle? (Surfer Belle, my little Surfer Belle) (Surfer Belle, my little Surfer Belle) [Lyrics by lar3ry gensch, to the tune "Surfer Girl"] Bob Ito's fanart drawings now have a new HOME page on the World Wide Web.
